One thing I have learned while traveling as a WorkAway volunteer: Even without money, a lot can be accomplished.
Well, the same goes for tools. When you don’t have the right tool, then you look at what you have and see how far you can go with that. So when I came to the point that I needed a saw table, I looked at the tool I did have which was a 2nd hand saw, picked up at the flea market and fitted with a new saw blade. Then I took the base of an old sewing machine, mounted a sturdy working surface and arranged a way to hold the circle saw in place underneath the tabletop, blade facing up. By no means the safest of table saws, but most certainly the cheapest one I had at hand.
